How does Vibe sync the lyrics?

Vibe uses a custom LyricsSyncEngine that connects directly to the playback timeline of your music source (Apple Music or Spotify). It maps the current playback time to LRC-formatted lyrics provided by the LRCLIB API. The highlight accuracy is strictly calibrated to ± 50 ms.

Why are Live Translations not working?

Live translation is a Vibe Premium feature and requires iOS 18 or later. Because Vibe relies entirely on Apple's native, on-device Translation framework to protect your privacy, you must have the appropriate language models downloaded to your iPhone. The app does not use cloud servers for translation.

I can't connect my Spotify account.

Spotify integration is available exclusively in Vibe Premium. When connecting, Vibe uses the Spotify iOS SDK and Web API via an OAuth 2.0 flow. Ensure you have an active internet connection and the official Spotify app installed on your device to complete the authorization process.

Why don't I see the Lock Screen Live Activity?

Ubiquitous lyrics presentation, including the Home Screen widget, Lock Screen Live Activity, Dynamic Island, and Floating Window, are part of the Vibe Premium tier. The free tier is limited to basic synced lyrics for Apple Music within the app.

How do I use Vibe in CarPlay?

Vibe Premium includes a native CarPlay integration designed for safe driving. Once connected to your car's screen, Vibe provides a distraction-free interface with a large font and auto-centered lyrics. It does not support complex interactions on the dashboard display.

Are my lyrics backed up?

Yes. Vibe uses SwiftData with automatic iCloud sync (via CloudKit). Your downloaded lyrics and app state are securely synced across your Apple devices using your private Apple ID.
