Sunlit is a pickleball score keeper. You tap the score as you play, and it keeps the running call, every game of the session, and a card you can hand to the people you played with. It is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means for your data.
Your games stay on your device. No account, no ads, no third-party analytics. We never see your scores, and we never see the names of the people you play with.
Nothing. Sunlit does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers - we do not have servers that receive your data. Your games, sessions, roster, and records are saved only in the app’s local storage on your device.
Sunlit asks you to name your partners and opponents so it can tell you who you win with. That means the app holds other people’s names, and it makes a card carrying them. This is the part people most reasonably want a straight answer about, so here it is.
Sunlit has no user accounts and no login. You do not give us an email address, name, or any other identifier, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Sunlit contains no advertising, no third-party tracking SDKs, and no analytics tools. It does not use your data to build a profile of you, and it does not share data with anyone - because it does not collect any.
Sunlit does not send your games or anything else to an AI service. The scoring is deterministic rulebook logic running on your phone. When the app does not have enough games to state a record honestly, it says so rather than guessing - that judgement is also made on your device.
Sunlit can export a backup file of your own games so you never lose them. That backup is a plain file that you save wherever you choose (for example Files or iCloud Drive). It is under your control; Sunlit does not send it anywhere.
