Steda helps men with chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) track symptoms, see honest patterns in their own data, and walk into their urology appointment prepared — with their health data kept private on their device.

Frequently asked

Do I need an account?

No. Steda works with no account and no sign-in. Your data is stored locally on your iPhone.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your logs stay on your device. We don’t upload them, we don’t sell them, and there are no advertising trackers or analytics. See the Privacy Policy.

Does Steda diagnose CP/CPPS or recommend treatment?

No. Steda is not a medical device. It surfaces patterns in what you log and helps you prepare questions for your urologist. It never diagnoses, and it never recommends a specific treatment, medication, or exercise regimen. Always talk to a healthcare professional about your care.

Why doesn’t Steda suggest Kegel exercises?

For the tenderness-dominant pattern many men with CP/CPPS experience, the evidence points toward pelvic-floor relaxation and down-training, not strengthening — so Steda’s guidance is deliberately relaxation-first. See the in-app “Why you can trust Steda” screen for the cited research.

What’s free, and what’s in Plus?

Logging, the calendar, current-window trends, your first full pattern insight, the quiz, the full safety/supplement-interaction content, and the crisis-support banner are free forever. Steda Plus unlocks your full pattern history, complete insight narratives with the numbers behind them, the Doctor Visit Brief PDF export, and the full lesson and recipe library. Plus is a subscription with a free trial; manage or cancel it any time in your Apple ID settings.

How do I export my Doctor Visit Brief?

Open the Brief and tap Export (Plus) to save a PDF you can print or share with your urologist. You can also export your raw logs as CSV from Profile.

How do I delete my data?

Profile → Developer → Wipe all data. Deleting the app also removes its on-device data.

If you’re in crisis, contact your local emergency number now. In the US you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Steda also shows a free support banner with resources — it is never behind the paywall.
