Settla is an education and self-tracking app for people living with IBS. This policy explains, plainly, what happens to what you log. The short version: your data stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing leaves your device. Everything you enter (symptoms, meals, sleep, stress, Bristol entries, weekly check-ins, notes, and your name) is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device database. Settla has no account, no login, and no server that receives your data.

No third parties, no ads, no AI service

Settla contains no third-party analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. It does not send your data to any AI service. Every pattern, chart, and Doctor Visit Brief is computed on your device with deterministic, on-device code. We never see what you log.

Your control

You can export a copy of your logged data as a CSV file any time, and delete everything from the Profile screen with one tap. Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the app removes it.

Subscriptions

Settla Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription, handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not receive or store any payment information; Apple processes all purchases.

Not a medical service

Settla offers education and self-tracking. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Always consult a qualified clinician about your health.

Children

Settla is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them (it collects no information from anyone).
