Séance stores your data on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. We never see your data.
Nothing. Everything you enter stays in the app's local database on your device (and in your personal iCloud backup if you use device backups).
Séance never uses the microphone unless you turn on "Record session audio" in Settings (it is off by default). Recordings are saved only on your device, next to your séance journal. You can delete them at any time by deleting the séance or resetting the app.
The one-time Séance Plus purchase is processed by Apple. We receive no payment details. Manage purchases in your Apple Account settings.
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.
Your data leaves the app only when you copy a transcript out yourself (Export copies it to your clipboard). Where you paste it is entirely up to you.
Settings → Reset all data deletes everything the app stores. Deleting the app does the same.
