Psalmly is a private prayer journal. It is built offline-first, to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means for your prayers.
Your prayers stay yours - on your device, and optionally in your own private iCloud. No account, no ads, no third-party analytics. We never see what you write.
Nothing. Psalmly does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers - we do not have servers that receive your data. The prayers, tags, lists, and settings you enter are saved in the app’s local storage on your device.
Psalmly has no user accounts and no login. You do not give us an email address, name, or any other identifier, because there is nowhere for it to go.
If you turn on iCloud sync (on by default, with a Settings toggle to turn it off), your prayers are synced to your own private iCloud database using Apple’s CloudKit. This is your data, in your own Apple Account’s private storage - Psalmly’s developer cannot read it, and it is never sent to any Psalmly server, because none exists. Apple’s handling of iCloud is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Psalmly can send a daily prayer reminder using iOS’s local notification system, entirely on your device. This requires no data to leave your device and no push server is involved.
