Pintally is a bowling score keeper for casual and league bowlers. It is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means for your data.
Your data stays on your device. No account, no ads, no third-party analytics. We never see what you score.
Nothing. Pintally does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers - we do not have servers that receive your data. The games, players, leagues, and settings you enter are saved only in the app’s local storage on your device.
Pintally has no user accounts and no login. You do not give us an email address, name, or any other identifier, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Player names (for example, renaming “Player 2” to your child’s name) are stored only on your device, alongside the games you score. They are never sent anywhere, analyzed, or used for anything beyond labeling your own scoresheets.
Pintally contains no advertising, no third-party tracking SDKs, and no analytics tools. It does not use your data to build a profile of you, and it does not share data with anyone - because it does not collect any.
Pintally can export a backup file of your own game library so you never lose it. That backup is a plain file that you save wherever you choose (for example Files or iCloud Drive). It is under your control; Pintally does not send it anywhere. Restoring a backup reads a file you select.
Exporting a Season Recap creates a PDF on your device, built entirely from the games you entered. You choose where it goes using the system share sheet - Pintally does not upload it anywhere.
Pintally Full is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment and manages the receipt; Pintally never sees your payment details. Apple’s handling of that transaction is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Pintally is a general-audience scorekeeping app and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
