Ovaflow ("Ovaflow," "we," "us," or "our") makes an iOS app that helps you learn about and track symptoms related to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). We built Ovaflow to be private by design. This policy explains, in plain English, what information the app handles, where it lives, and the choices you have.
By using Ovaflow, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
By default, the information you enter into Ovaflow lives locally on your device in an on-device database (Apple's SwiftData). This can include things like:
Because this data is stored on-device, it is only as accessible as your device. We recommend protecting your phone with a passcode or Face ID / Touch ID. If you delete the app, on-device data associated with it is removed according to how iOS handles app data. You can also clear your data from within the app's settings.
If you use Apple's iCloud device backup or iCloud sync for app data, your information may be included in that backup or sync under Apple's terms and encryption. That is a feature of your Apple account and iCloud, not something Ovaflow operates on its own servers.
