Welcome to Ovaflow support. Below are answers to the questions we hear most. If you don't find what you need, email us anytime at [email protected].

What is Ovaflow?

Ovaflow is an iOS app for learning about and tracking symptoms related to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It offers plain-English lessons, PCOS-friendly food ideas, educational supplement explainers, and simple tools to log your cycle, energy, mood, and sleep so you can notice your own patterns over time.

Important: Ovaflow is an education and self-tracking tool, not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent PCOS or any condition, and it is not a medical device. Anything you learn here is meant to support — not replace — conversations with a qualified healthcare professional. Always talk with your clinician about your health and before making changes or starting any supplement.

How do the "patterns" work?

After the in-app quiz, Ovaflow shows you a pattern such as Insulin-Resistant, Inflammatory, Adrenal-Androgen, Post-Pill, or "Still Settling."

These patterns are informal labels used in the PCOS community to describe clusters of symptoms people commonly notice. They are not official diagnoses and are not a medical result. Your pattern is simply a reflection of the answers you gave, offered to help you find relevant lessons and to give you something concrete to discuss with a clinician. Only a healthcare professional can assess what's actually going on for you. It's completely normal to get "Still Settling" — many people don't fit neatly into one box.
