Larkspire is a vocal pitch monitor. It listens through your microphone and tells you which note you are singing and how far off pitch you are. It is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means for your data.

The short version

Your data stays on your device. No account, no ads, no third-party analytics. We never see what you sing.

What we collect

Nothing. Larkspire does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers - we do not have servers that receive your data. Your takes, your range test results, your name, and your practice history are saved only in the app’s local storage on your device.

The microphone - and what is and is not kept

Larkspire needs the microphone to do the one thing it does: hear the note you are singing. This is the part of the app people most reasonably want a straight answer about, so here it is.
