Aurella is built privacy-first. Your migraine and headache data is yours.

What we collect

Nothing leaves your device by default. The attacks you log, the symptoms and triggers you tag, your notes, quiz answers, and the patterns Aurella derives are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. Aurella does not require an account, and does not send your health data to us or to any third party.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your data.
• We do not show ads, and we do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
• We do not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.
• We do not transmit your logged symptoms, notes, or derived patterns off your device.

Optional iCloud backup

If you enable iCloud for Aurella in iOS Settings, your data is backed up to your own private iCloud account under Apple's encryption and terms. We never see it. You can turn this off at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases

Aurella Plus is an optional subscription handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We receive only the anonymized purchase/renewal status Apple provides to validate your subscription. We do not receive your name, card, or contact details.

Analytics & crash reports

If Aurella includes anonymous, aggregate usage or crash analytics, they contain no health data — only anonymized app-stability information — and only if you have not disabled analytics sharing in iOS Settings. No symptom, attack, or note content is ever included.

Children

Aurella is not directed at children under 13.

Not a medical service

Aurella is an educational self-tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician about your health.
