Effective date: 2 September 2026

The short version

Matchsheet keeps everything on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no third-party SDKs. We never see your data, because none of it ever leaves your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. Player names, shirt numbers, kit colours, the formations you save and the match details you type stay in the app's local database on your device — and in your own iCloud backup, if you use device backups. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Permissions

Matchsheet asks for two things, each only at the moment it is needed.

The first is permission to add a picture to your photo library, so the team sheet you just made can be saved there. It is add-only, so the app cannot read your photos. If you share the sheet straight into a chat instead, the app never asks.

The second is permission to send you a notification, and only if you start the free trial: a single reminder two days before the first charge, so a trial never turns into a bill you did not expect. It is a local notification scheduled on your device — there is no push server and nothing is sent anywhere — and it is removed if the plan lapses or you switch auto-renew off.

Nothing else. No contacts, no camera, no location, no microphone.

Purchases

Matchsheet Plus is optional. You can take it as a yearly plan, which starts with a one-week free trial, or as a single payment that unlocks it for good with no subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple and we receive no payment details. Restoring is handled by Apple through your Apple Account: Settings → Restore purchases.

Data deletion

Settings → Reset all data deletes everything the app stores. Deleting the app does the same. Team sheets you already saved or sent are yours and stay where you put them.

Children

Matchsheet is made for youth and grassroots coaches, so the names on a team sheet are often children's names. Those names never leave the phone. There is no account, no upload and no analytics, and the app collects nothing from anyone, whatever their age.
